Two prospective MSW students, Elizabeth and Lindsay joined the YBB team this year and supported us in moving forward with several really important projects.
Elizabeth Dublinski (left) joined the YBB team last fall and did some amazing work researching the intersection of trauma and yoga (see her research here). We feel so lucky to have had her in our office 20 hours a week! Elizabeth graduated from UW’s MSW program last June, and is now in northern Arizona working as an advocate for victims of crime and trauma at Victim Witness Services. From Elizabeth: “One of our programs is trauma sensitive yoga for our clients who LOVE it. I’m beyond grateful that I’ve been able to take what I’ve learned at YBB into my career. :)”
Lindsay Kazi (right) joined YBB as a practicum student focusing on expanding our capacity in advocacy and racial justice work. Lindsay created a beautiful action plan for how YBB can approach advocacy and racial justice in the future, and we are so grateful for her insight. Lindsay returned to Smith College for summer classes and is in her 2nd year of her MSW program there.
Thank you, Elizabeth and Lindsay!
