Our Executive Director Rosa had the pleasure of participating in the Yoga Service Council‘s Yoga Service Conference at the Omega Institute in Rhinebeck, NY this year! Her presentation, “An Introduction to Teaching Trauma-Informed Yoga,” gave participants a taste of the style of yoga we teach in prisons, as well as the values we bring to our mat. We are so inspired and honored to be part of this conference and to have the opportunity to share more about our work and trauma-informed approach alongside so many incredible people and organizations, including Booker of Bending Towards Justice, Teo Drake of Off the Mat, Into the World™ and Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health, and the amazing Dr. Gail Parker. What a beautiful weekend!
